BBC Awards

Ieder jaar neemt een groep leerlingen deel aan de BBC-Awards.

Er zijn drie Awards:

  1. Public Speaking Award
  2. Young Writers Award
  3. Digital Voice Award

In 2011 heeft een van onze leerlingen, Geiske van Logtestein, de nationale Young Writers Awards gewonnen. Ze vertelt hierover het volgende:

Geiske van Logtestein, winner of the Young Writers Award 2011 feels that her self-confidence has benefited tremendously from taking part in the Awards: “From the beginning until the end: the BBC Awards were an amazing experience. To me, the best part was the development of my essay; I started with a simple idea, but ended with a wonderful essay. Both the BBC Awards and the Arvon course improved my writing skills, but also my confidence in myself. Before the BBC Awards I would never have thought that I could write so well.”
